This signet ring is cast in lead-free pewter (Britannia alloy). The ring size when cast is 6. The sealing image is a literal abstraction of a hive mind.
Hive mind refers to the science fiction concept of a single consciousness/mind shared by a group. Similar to an extreme eusocial structure like that seen in bees.
This is part of a series of signet rings I am making cast from lead-free pewter. Each ring is hand sculpted to give a unique, rustic style, relief image when used as a seal, with sealing wax.
